Arrays

 

Toady i did arrays for my maths.(Chilli three)

It was really fun!

First i had to make a prediction(guess) of how many i think there are.

Then i had to calculate how much the total was.

I realised it would take me a long time to count one by one.

so instead i used times.

it turned out to be a lot faster.

Have you ever tried to solve a problem that was an array?

was it hard,tricky,OK?

I really enjoyed doing arrays i wish there could be a more array problems I can do in the future!

How to make a poi

 

This is my slideshow of how to make a poi.

A poi is a item that is used in kapa haka and special  events.

Its mainly used in culture dances (pacific island.....) .

I'm giving you s.t.a.t reasons why every kid should have a phone

                         Emergencies,Messaging,Danger!

 

Firstly, If something terrible happens or someone gets                          strongly hurt, 

And we have a phone we can call anybody like the emergency service or their parents, and get HELP!

Secondly,If someone needs to tell us something, Absolutely Important! and thier far away, We are able to contact them and Hear what's going on.

Last of all,Us kids could get easily in danger example:Kidnapped and they wouldn't expect us having a phone, so we call dial 111 or 911 to come and rescue

I hope you parents/teachers/caregivers understand why not only parents need a phone, but kids also have important reasons for a phone.

this is my persuasive writing about why every kid should have a phone,

have you ever done a persuasive writing?

I really enjoyed this because...we got to pick a topic for what we can write. I chose this one because...

 I really want a phone, and I feel like its unfair that parents get one, but us kids don't.

copycat

Yesterday our teacher got us another task that said.

Simon just discovered copycats.

a square is a copy cat because you can put four of them together to make another square.

Simon wonders if triangles and circles are copycats.

What do you think?

IT was really enjoyable and fun because.

you had the ability to make art, witch was really a fun power.

I only think that circles, are but triangles are safe.

its like copy cats are criminals, think of that will help your fun imagination.

Chocolate box

Today our teacher(Mrs Zandbergen)

gave us this question that said

I have 48 chocolate to put in a box.

they are too be in equal rows. What might my box look like?

I enjoyed this new learning because

it was fun too put the chocolate in different fun shapes and sizes.

Night market

                                     Night market   
     I think that the night Market is the best market out of all!
              It has glow in the dark toys that glow at night
              And sometimes even have fresh clean food
               It opens till night so you can go any time
    there is nothing to worry about going to the night market
         There is no rush, it feels like it's only open for you!
                              Go To a night market
                                Get your groceries
                     Go to the market today or any day
                                Any time and day

The canopy poem 23 July

                                          Making a Canopy
                 The canopy was coming up it was coming up today
                                There were danger signs
                                Even a metal metal fence
                                    It was loud and noisy
                  I wandered what made such a big noise
                             so I peeked through the window
            And when I looked through the window outside there were
                              Diggers trucks machines and cars
                           The day was done it was finally here
                       That was the day when the canopy came
